Research Experience:

Pedro A. Mogadouro do Couto graduated in Electrical Engineering from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), Portugal in 1999. He obtained the M.Sc. degree in Engineering Technologies in 2003 and the PhD degree in Electrical Engineering (Computer Vision) in 2007 from UTAD, Portugal. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in the Engineering Department of the Science and Technology School at UTAD. He is a Vice Director of the Centre for the Research and Technology of Agro-Environment and Biological Sciences (CITAB) of UTAD and an integrated researcher in the Biosystems Engineering group at CITAB. He is author of more than 50 research peer reviewed papers in the area of Digital Image Processing, Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence.
