Research Experience:

MMarco Mamei is associate professor of computer science at the Department of Sciences and Methods for Engineering (DISMI) of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. He obtained the PhD in computer science from the same univeristy in 2004. He spent research periods and has been visiting researcher at multiple institutions including Telecom Italia Lab (IT), Nokia Research Center (USA), Harvard University (USA), Cycorp Europe (SLO) and Yahoo Research (ES). His research interests include the analysis of telecom data (CDR) in smart city scenarios, and applications and infrastructures for pervasive e mobile computing.
