Research Experience:

Degree in Biological Sciences (1981), Master's degree (1985) and PhD´s degree (1989) in Ecology, from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Ccurrently is Scientific Researcher at Embrapa Agricultural  Informatics. Has held managerial positions in R&D and S&T for over a decade at Embrapa Satellite Monitoring. Developed research in the area of Operational Acridology and currently works at Embrapa Agricultural Informatics with the following themes: Mapping, Organization and Representation of Knowledge and Information, Agroterminologies and Agrosemática.
