Fixed Point Theory, Best Approximation, Functional Analysis, Operational Research, Mathematical Programming, Operator Theory, Real functions, Ordinary and Partial Differential equations

Research Experience:

Calogero Vetro is Assistant Professor of Mathematical Analysis at the Università degli Studi di Palermo (Italy), where he has been since 2005. He also is affiliated with the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the same University. He received the Laurea Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2000 and the PhD Degree in Engineering of Automation and Control Systems in 2004.

He taught courses in Mathematical Analysis, Numerical Analysis, Numerical Calculus, Geomathematics, Computational Mathematics, Operational Research, Optimization. Also he is member of Doctoral Collegium at Università degli Studi di Palermo and he acts as referee for many scientific Journals in the fields of pure and applied mathematics.

He is in the Editorial Boards of the following scientific Journals: Filomat, Fixed Point Theory (FPT), Journal of Function Spaces (JFS), The Journal of Nonlinear Science and Applications (JNSA), The Journal of Mathematics and Computer Science (TJMCS), International Journal of Mathematics & Statistics (IJMS), Communications in Nonlinear Analysis (CNA), Radical Journal of Mathematics (RJM), Bulletin of Mathematics and Statistics Research (BOMSR).
